I was watching ABC 7 Chicago earlier, and laughing at the images of the bumper to bumper traffic inching along on the express way...makes me glad I was done working and home by 1 p.m.
cat, I took the El most of the way home and it was not too bad. I took the bus the last little bit and that was pretty bad. Lots of slipping and sliding.
When the snow comes in the UK the world stops turning and fingers are pointed at those responsible for the resulting road chaos. Anyone but the motorists are to blame
No one in this country seems to prepare for winter.

sym, when I lived in London it did not snow so I never got to experience a snow day there.
