Sym, if used as a noun it is a kind of falcon, but the name for the falcon arose from the adjective use.

Wow... I did not know that peregrine was an adjective.
Like others, I just knew it as a falcon.
Must try to use that in a sentence today....
hahahaahah not to likely, going out for sushi tonight, don't know how I could work that into a sentence.
