I miss Illinois winters.
I can remember mornings just like this, growing up in Chicago. Beautiful to look at not so much to try and struggle through.Wonderful photo.cheers, parsnip
Winter has finally arrived. We may actually see this here in Oregon in a few days (the snow, not the big city streets, that is!)
I'm living that today too!!!As Bart Simpson would say; "I'm livin it, but I ain't lovin it."
meg, I miss Florida.ap, I think visiting for briefs periods in the winter is probably ideal.kerry, I hope it passes you by.karen, you live in a much colder place and are much heartier so I know you will handle it well.
Now I'm homesick for Buffalo, which looks much the same right now.
No envy here.
pc, Buffalo is a fearsome place in the winter.rj, understandable.
Add mountain, skis and a chalet.
ac, if only, although I am sure I would fall somehow so maybe it is best that I am not there.
I live approximately 24 hours north of you, longitudinally speaking (or maybe it's latitudinally; whatever). Where's my snow?!
Ugh. Glad that wasn't me..yet.
Burr...feels like Spring here in Nevada...all my plants are very confused. Definitely the hottest winter we've seen in 6 years. Happy New Year by the way...
