I was playing pool last night in a joint on the South Side of town, so let’s stay with that theme for our cocktail of the week:
8 Ball
- 1.5 ounces Dark Rum
- 1.5 ounces Peach Schnapps
- 1.5 ounces Almond Liqueur
- 1 tablespoon Grenadine
- 8 ounces Pineapple Juice
In a very tall glass, mix ingredients. Stir until arms are quite tired. Drink. Rack’em.

Rj, that is why we use grenadine which is sweeter than sugar.

You had me at Peach Schnapps. My mom was up there yesterday and ate at Smoque BBQ. She said it was a bit of a dive, but that the food was good.

meg, that's a great name for a restaurant. I used to work in Orlando, where is it?
It's up near Winter Park, on Lee Rd. We lived in Orlando for a year while my husband went to nuke power school. I have family there, so every time we visit, Bubba Lou's is the first place we go.
