I'm sure I can slip that one into any amount of conversations.

Sym, it certainly seems like a moral imperitive.

I was so hungry last night that I edaciously ate the spicy tuna roll in five seconds...

Does that work?

hm.

What do you call a guy who has just eaten a 3 course meal in 5 minutes whilst wearing a clown suit and who ran away before paying, but who left a tip for the waiter?

An audacious yet gracious but edacious fellow.

And if he did it again the next day he's be a bit tenacious as well.

That's me when I get fried potatoes and onions.

My dog often belches after he eats, but I know he does this because he's too edacious and he rushes to eat everything he has in his bowl, because maybe, just maybe, there's a chance he will get some more.

He doesn’t understand the concept of too much of a good thing...

tsb, I call him unwelcome at my restaurant.

jeannette, always room for more.

ro, a good first course.

jolene, he understands, he just rejects it.

Right word to describe the eating habit of my Oscar fish. That creature never stops eating.

hoe, you must be serving it good food.

Nice word! Could you use it like "voracious" in the sense of being an edacious reader? Must not be widely used, because I see spell-check doesn't recognize it.

Laoch of Chicago said...

kerry, you could use it that way although I haven't heard it used much save for eating.
