Cool shot. Kinda looks like the way I partition a photograph to sketch it onto a canvas.

I really like Susan's comment. And she's right. It is a very cool shot.

susan, I must look into the partitioning concept, it sounds like an interesting idea.

Reminded me of the movie Inception and mirrored worlds. Very good shot.

They're called grid lines, used in perspective drawing painting.

Very cool. Is it a reflection? If it was looking through a window, I'd be curious how both the foreground and background can be in focus together.

Reading the title of the post and seeing this nice perspective brought the first words of this song into my head:

Nice shot. Chicago!

It's difficult for a camera to know where to autofocus, so I wondered the same thing as Cygnus.
Is this your workplace?

pc, thanks.

tamago, thanks.

ap, nice of you to say.

dbs, so true.

bette, me too.

ac, I did not know that, thanks for the information.

cygnus, I am not sure as I know nothing about photo9graphy. It is a not a reflection, just a lucky shot.

kerry, it was taken from the Time Warner building in New York City.
